The Opportunity: 

As a cyber mission specialist, you understand the value of hunt-forward operations, and you know that battles are won in the grey. We’re looking for a cyber mission specialist like you to apply your experience network security and cyber risk assessments, and impact our nation’s cybersecurity.

In this role, you’ll be counted on to help understand cyberspace capabilities to evaluate potential weaknesses as well as the effectiveness of mitigations for cyber security solutions. You will work with your team to leverage cyberspace operations systems to aggregate threat feeds that inform briefings for senior leadership aligned to mission needs. This is an opportunity to use your research and analysis abilities to adequately assess and inform operators and senior leadership on dynamic adversarial tactics, techniques, and procedures for the mission. You Have:   

• 3+ years of experience in Information Assurance (IA) and Cybersecurity

• Experience with using Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

• Experience with Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG)s, Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP), or Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS)

• Experience with networking, Cisco or Juniper network devices, or network security implementation

• Experience with Windows Server 2016, 2019, Linux including RHEL, Ubuntu, Solarwinds, and McAfee Host-Based Security System(HBSS)

• Knowledge of the discipline and practice of systems engineering throughout the system life cycle phases of concept, development, production, use, support, and retirement

• Knowledge of NIST 800-53 and CNSSI 1253 RMF Analysis and Accreditation

• Ability to write final-version deliverable technical documents and reports

• Secret clearance

• Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:   

• 6+ years of experience in IA and Cybersecurity

• 3+ years of experience in system engineering architecture and design

• Possession of excellent interpersonal, organizational, and teambuilding skills

• Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills

• TS/SCI clearance

• Master's degree

• CISSP Certification
