About the role
Position Summary:
We are seeking a results-driven Production Supervisor to lead day-to-day manufacturing or assembly operations that support data center construction projects. This role is responsible for supervising production teams, ensuring quality standards, maintaining safety compliance, and meeting project timelines. The ideal candidate has experience in modular assembly, electrical/mechanical fabrication, or construction component production for mission-critical environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate production activities for electrical, mechanical, or modular assemblies supporting data center construction.
- Ensure daily schedules, work orders, and production goals are met with quality and efficiency.
- Lead, train, and evaluate production crew members including technicians, assemblers, and subcontractors.
- Monitor and maintain compliance with company safety policies and OSHA standards.
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, logistics, and project teams to resolve issues and maintain workflow.
- Implement lean manufacturing, 5S, or continuous improvement practices on the floor.
- Review and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and assembly drawings.
- Ensure proper use of tools, materials, and documentation of completed work.
- Track labor hours, materials used, and job progress using ERP or project tracking systems.
- Support quality inspections, punch lists, and final approval of production units before delivery to site.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or technical degree preferred.
- 3–7 years of experience in production, fabrication, or construction supervision.
- Background in data center, electrical, modular, or mechanical assembly strongly preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
- Working knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing or construction environment.
- Strong leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
- Proficient with production tracking tools, ERP systems, or Microsoft Office.
