JOB OVERVIEW

Perform duties to create and maintain accurate bills of material which includes defining and maintaining production part routings in the company’s business management software (ERP) system. This position involves constant communication with the Project Management, Estimating, and Purchasing groups.

ROLE + RESPONSIBILITIES (includes but not limited to)

  • Create new part numbers
  • Define bills of material
  • Define part routings using established labor standards and practices
  • Maintain/update BOM and part routings, in support of product changes
  • Work closely with production staff to identify and resolve non-conformance issues related to BOM and/or part routings
  • Investigate non-conformances and take corrective action to prevent future recurrence
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies and procedures

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 2 year’s experience in production, management, or supervisory roles.
  • Knowledgeable in fabrication and machining concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Must be able to work well in a team, communicate effectively, and follow directions.

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Comfortable with computers.
  • Experience or knowledge in welding.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD/SolidWorks.
  • Understanding of materials and coatings.
  • Estimating and ASME background.
  • Fabrication expertise.
