Digital Management LLC
Project Manager
Full-time professional position at Digital Management’s business office located in McLean, Virginia, with relocation to unanticipated project sites throughout the US expected. Travel is not required for this position.
Duties:
- Perform information technology project management duties.
- Create project schedule and release plans and staffing plans.
- Evaluate state-issued RFPs to assess alignment with divisional goals and service offerings, providing critical input on bid/no-bid decisions.
- Support organizational growth by partnering with key stakeholders and partners to modernize Child Welfare and Juvenile Justice applications, contributing to business expansion.
- Prepare Program Increment (PI) plans and sprint plans; collaborating with product owner and teams to identify PI objectives that support the project goals, identify critical features, and refine the work required to deliver the features.
- Maintain regular communication with stakeholders, including program teams and leadership, to ensure alignment and transparency.
- Create implementation plan for a phased rollout.
- Prepare the Statements of Work (SOW) and develop project budget, ensuring financial alignment with project objectives.
- Design and create high-level solution frameworks, ensuring that the architecture aligns with business goals, system requirements, and technical constraints.
- Supervise a team of professional subordinates. Hire resources to meet evolving project and division needs.
- Conduct performance evaluations for subordinates, and provide feedback and pay raise recommendation. Authorize employee leave requests.
- Provide direct reports with career guidance, offering mentorship on growth opportunities and career advancement pathways.
- Oversee daily operations by delegating tasks and ensuring timely completion of work in line with project deadlines.
- Make staffing adjustments for the projects determining when to allocate or offload resources from a project.
Qualifications
Education/Experience Requirements: A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or Business Administration field and 4 years of experience in the job offered or a related Information Technology Project Manager or software developer/solution architect position. Foreign equivalent degrees are acceptable.
Special Requirements: 3 years of verifiable experience performing information technology project management or software development duties employing the following technical tools: Grafana, MicroStrategy, Metabase, Apache NiFi, Form.io, Drools, n8n, Flyway, Angular, Node.js, Java, Oracle, PostgreSQL, Azure, AWS.
