Description

Reporting to the Product Engineering lead, Head of Technical Solutions will be responsible for overseeing technical implementation of Verily enterprise products with customers in Biopharma life sciences research as well as Care/Health systems areas.

This individual will work closely with product and engineering leads to shape the strategy for scaled deployment, customization and ongoing support of Verily products, integration with customer and partners systems and processes and co-innovation delivery with our strategic customers. This role requires excellent cross functional collaboration skills, working cohesively with the commercial, technical and scientific/clinical operational teams.

We are looking for a great technology and implementation expert with broad expertise in life sciences/research and health system domains, data/systems/application integration and interoperability standards and protocols, with a proven track record of working with product development and engineering teams and cross functional collaborators.

Possible locations of the role are Dallas, SSF or Boston.

Responsibilities

  • Full life cycle of product implementation:
    • Pre-sales technical consulting for product implementation.
    • Solution architecture development with customer and strategic partners.
    • Post-sales technical delivery of the product deployment, customization and technical implementation of research and care programs delivery using the products.
    • Ongoing technical support of the deployed products, including Tier 2 and above technical support, working in collaboration with engineering.
  • Technology development in collaboration with product engineering teams:
    • Strategic input into product roadmaps, design and architecture.
    • Drive design and development of technical tools and systems to support scaled and repeatable product deployment and implementation.
    • Supervise Program and technical management of  strategic “lighthouse” customers and co-innovation.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience, with 10+ years of hands-on technical leadership and people management experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply problem-solving skills to complex issues.
  • Excellent communication skills and aptitude for working with cross-functional teams.
  • 15+ years working in life sciences and/or healthcare fields with focus in one or more of: Biopharma Research, Real World Evidence and Health Systems.
  • Professional Services and Consulting experience.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 15+ years of management experience of teams of 8 or more.
  • Experience with regulated software products in the healthcare/life sciences space.
  • Demonstrated creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills, combined with a strong sense of ownership and a proactive can-do attitude.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills, with a track record of handling multiple customers and streams of work.
  • Experience with public cloud services such as Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services and/or Azure.
  • Experience with application, API and workflow integration technologies.
  • Experience in data interoperability and standards such as FHIR, HL7 and clinical data / clinical studies data domains. 

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $244,000- $367,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
