Job Overview

The Director, Hospital and Ancillary Contracting is responsible for negotiating and implementing agreements with hospital and ancillary vendors. The Director, Hospital and Ancillary Contracting develops and implements hospital and ancillary network strategies for assigned regions or service areas. The position is responsible for managing staff responsible for servicing the network and assures that exceptional customer service is provided. Additionally, the position is accountable for the financial viability and quality of the region or service area.

Minimum Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in business, health care administration or a combination of education and/or experience in related field. 

2. Minimum of five years of managed care hospital and ancillary contracting experience required. 

3. Working knowledge of eligibility, claims, credentialing and utilization management preferred.

4. Must have understanding of Medi-Cal, Medicare, RBRVS, case rates, DRG, capitation and other payment structures.

Salary Range

$146,677.27 - $183,346.59 annually
