What's the role?
HERE’s Marketing team is seeking a Digital Content Operations Lead-Web Experience, based out of our Berlin, Germany office. In this role, you will bring strategic oversight to the management of our content management, copy and visual asset tools, and the content they contain, so that they can seamlessly and consistently be presented on key channels including our flagship website, here.com and related channels. Your content management responsibilities include organization of all digital assets such as copy, templates, images, and videos used and prepared by the Web Experience and broader Brand Creative teams. You’ll need hands-on experience working within enterprise-grade content management systems, preferably Contentful, Contently, BrandFolder and Drupal. You’ll work globally and cross-functionally across internal teams and external stakeholders to guide the digital asset life cycle from creation to asset delivery, through archival. You will help create a single source of truth for use across the company, advocate for managing content in context, and play an important role in implementing and upgrading our processes that save time and money for the wider organization. You will also be the key point of contact for any future tools, integrations and migration projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead the creation and evolution of digital asset management capabilities by developing the in-house roadmap focused on streamlining operations, optimized user flows, permissions, and maintaining best practice asset management.
- Support configuration and design of solutions for Content Management Systems around the entire customer journeys in the area of digital demand generation.
- Design, execute, manage and communicate infrastructure and compliance measures for our digital asset management tools.
- Develop and implement taxonomy and metadata management strategies following industry best practices, create requirements and share them with the wider organization.
- Be the key point of contact for IT for any compliance, privacy or update issues related to our tools, in alignment with your Web Infrastructure colleagues.
- Establish and maintain file-naming conventions and metadata standards across multiple digital asset categories.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to build infrastructure that addresses internal and external digital asset needs.
- Discover and support proof of concept of ways to enhance automation of tagging and asset ingest.
- Perform ingesting, organizing, general asset maintenance and management, as well as associated issue management in the digital asset management tools.
- Define, implement, and oversee the full life cycle, archival, and distribution of all digital assets, as well as metadata schemas, taxonomies, and user groups.
- Develop and implement workflows for asset ingestion, categorization, permissions management, version control, delivery, and expiration to internal and external users.
- Be a power user of our CMS platforms, to enable ease of upload and consistent presentation of content.
- Increase brand consistency, improve productivity, and maintain systems to the highest standards.
- Developing training materials, and training and onboarding new users to the tools and assist with questions from existing users.
- Develop skills and expertise in digital asset curation and syndication by being current with prevailing technologies in the digital world, and so be able to contribute to the evolution of new content formats.
- Maintain and contribute to standards and governance by being abreast of industry best practices.
- Work with Contentful, BrandFolder, Contently, Drupal and Workfront.
Who are you?
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, digital media or a related field (or 7+ years of equivalent experience).
- Experience with HTML5, CSS3, SASS, JS, jQuery, responsive web design, and modern Javascript frameworks like React.JS, Next.JS, or VueJS.
- Proven experience with a CMS (Built applications & websites) using a well-known headless CMS like Contentful with understanding of hooks, lifecycle events, props, state management, etc.
- Proficient in content modelling, structuring, workflows and governance.
- Familiarity with modern web development technologies and practices.
- Experience with enterprise-grade CMS platforms (Drupal, AEM, etc.)
- Experience with DAM platforms (Brandfolder, etc.)
- Familiarity with SEO best practices and content optimization.
- Experience in website migrations and large-scale content management projects is desired.
- Experience with Analytics and Data Integration Solutions like Adobe
