Front and Back Medical Assistant

Description

Our practice is seeking full-time Front & Back Office Medical Assistant. This position is ideal for an individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, where multi-tasking skills are key. You will have a high degree of responsibility and independence.

This position will consist of front and back-office duties including:

· Scheduling appointments

· Responding to patient calls

· Insurance knowledge

· Appointment Reminders

· Data entry into Electronic Health Record (EPIC)

· Scanning and faxing

· Assisting Physicians with Medical Procedures

Requirements

Mandatory qualifications:

· Excellent customer service/interpersonal skills

· Medical terminology

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Comfort with interacting with the elderly and disabled

· Strong computer skills

· Electronic Health Record (EPIC)

Strongly Preferred Qualifications:

· Bilingual English/Spanish

Requirements:

· 2 years Front and Back Office experience

· MA Certificate desired

Compensation will be based on experience

Pay Scale/Ranges:

$15.00-$41.50/hour (and the hourly equivalent for salaried employees).*

*Employees actual pay rate will depend on a host of factors including, without limitation, job location, specialty, skillset, education, and experience. The patey scale/ranges shown are representative of the pay rates for the job title reflected above, but an employees actual pay rate will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
