The Role
The Director of Vyvx Product Management is responsible for setting strategy and leading the orchestration of the Vyvx Broadcast Services suite of products with a focus on improving the customer and employee experience through product management best practices along with the development of self service capabilities which resolve customer challenges. Serving as the primary interface for strategic alignment of the key functional areas, this individual will work closely with cross functional teams and leadership to manage the product lifecycle, drive revenue growth, and manage the financial performance of Vyvx products.

The Main Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively as a member of the leadership team on key initiatives such as product development cycles, customer feedback integration, and cross-departmental projects to achieve the organizational goals, objectives, and priorities as tied to the strategic plan.
- Deep focus on customer experience improvements to the Vyvx Media Portal through fostering relationships with A&E contacts and long term alignment for the vision of the tool.
- Analyze and synthesize external market assessments, benchmarks, dynamics and best practices to drive strategy and execution.
- Maintain linkage with Business and Product leaders advocating for cross functional collaboration to maximize the effectiveness of strategy support, ensuring synchronization of activities, minimizing duplication of efforts and establishing best practice standardization.
- Develops, manages and sustains product & pricing governance support framework supporting the key business imperatives; ensuring leaders and teams are operating within established standard design principles, receiving the appropriate requirements and support from the broader organization. Coordinates with leaders and cross functional teams to ensure appropriate prioritization, resourcing and velocity.
- Lead the mindful development and coordinated execution of Vyvx product strategy rooted in customer demand and insights. Advocates for customer needs to drive solutions that solves for challenges through delivering guidance, support and solutions to the development teams.
- Owning the direct relationship with Specialized Sales and Account teams for strategic planning for revenue growth and continued evolution of service offerings and solutions.
- Consults within strategy and across the business using a broad level of knowledge and expertise. Responsible for reconciling and aligning goals/objectives with strategic growth initiatives to maximize the effectiveness of strategy value and support.
- Management of the Product, Pricing and Venue management teams including setting direction; define objectives and aligning priorities.
- Foster the development of direct reports through developing, mentoring, and performance management to ensure alignment with Lumen 8 behaviors.
- Dealing with challenges that are broad, complex and abstract, often involving Company-wide issues. Must develop solutions using creativity, resourcefulness, innovation, negotiating and diplomacy.
- Execute a pricing structure and strategy overhaul through market analysis for competitive yet profitable outcomes across the Vyvx product set.
- Responsible for product financials including achieving annual revenue targets, growing incremental revenue for both usage and MRR, eliminating waste and ensuring EBITDA targets are met and exceeded.
What We Look For in a Candidate
- Bachelor’s degree or technical degree; Master’s Degree preferred - Technical degree allows product director to understand benefits capability for customers
- Sales and Engineering experience
- 10 years of experience in product management or product marketing or development
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to motivate and guide cross-functional teams.
