Regular Faculty work under the direction of their respective Associate Dean/Division Dean and are responsible for meeting all scheduled classes/labs/clinics and providing instruction in accordance with the philosophy and objectives of the College and the Department Chair's approved course outline. Regular Faculty are also responsible for using teaching methods and media designed to reach students of varying educational and experiential backgrounds to allow each student the opportunity to master the objectives of the course.
Regular Faculty are required to serve a provisional period from the date of employment until the completion of employment under three consecutive full year regular contracts.
This position may require working in virtual, weekend, evening, or various campus locations. Successful candidate must be willing to teach concurrent enrollment both on PPSC campuses and in local area high schools.
Anticipated start date January 2026.
The required teaching schedule is January to May. The required pay schedule is January to August. Beginning August 2025, and ongoing, the required teaching schedule is August to May. The salary will be $55,000 with the required pay schedule from September to August and ongoing.
Minimum Qualifications
- Completed bachelor’s degree in a discipline such as construction management, business, or architecture.
- Two or more years of full-time professional experience in a skilled trade related to construction or maintenance.
- Ability to earn a master’s degree within two years of hire.
- Experience with public speaking (presentation), teaching, or training.
- Experience working with diverse groups of people.
Preferred Qualifications
- Completed master's degree.
- Bilingual or proficient in a language other than English.
- Project and people management.
- Experience in program and curriculum development.
