Position Summary

Responsible for autoclaving and washing glassware used by laboratories. Position will be working between Endocrinology and Infectious Diseases labs.

Job Description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Collects glassware from the laboratories, washing all glassware and/or plasticware in the washer. Some containers, spatulas and other small items have to be washed by hand.
  • Returns clean glassware to the laboratories.
  • Picks up and delivers department mail from post office and distributes to employee’s mailboxes.
  • Autoclaves bottles, cylinders, pipettes tips, etc.

Salary Range

$15.25 - $20.29 / Hourly

The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
