We have a large R&amp;D presence in Bengaluru and sales offices across the country.</p><p>WD Bangalore is a Center of Excellence and within R&amp;D, our team is focused on engineering of enterprise Hard Disk Drives. It is a growing team that has been responsible for key enterprise products and has been instrumental in design, development of next generation architecture and products.</p><h3>Job Description</h3><p><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p><ul><li>Design and develop application (client-side and server-side).</li><li>Design and develop APIs that comply with Open-API 3.1 specification.</li><li>Build next-generation web application with a focus on usability.</li><li>Create database schemas that represent and support business processes.</li><li>Work closely with the hardware, software and validation teams to understand their current architectures, systems and implicit requirements.</li><li>Ensure stable and reliable application and associated services and mitigate user problems.</li><li>Create tools, automation scripts, and streamlined processes to ensure rapid deployment of services.</li><li>Follow Agile methodologies in development and openly and transparently communicate with global stakeholders</li><li>Evolve metrics and delivery goals for this system and measure the performance of this system in delivering these goals. Plan for continuous improvement of this system and processes to achieve higher efficiencies over time.</li><li>Create design documents pertinent to the various phases of development.</li><li>Participate in planning and coordinating significant technical investigations from problem statement to conclusions.</li><li>Innovate and ideate on new processes, technologies, and tools. </li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><p>Required</p><ul><li>Bachelors +2 yrs experience or Master 0 yr experience in CS, IT, CE  or equivalent required.</li><li>Proven expertise in the following: .NET, C#, HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3, MySQL</li><li>Experience with legacy and modern application development, service delivery and deployment, converged infrastructure, virtualization systems, containers and associated technologies.</li><li>Good understanding of the current state of automation infrastructure, CI/CD, and automated testing.</li><li>Familiar with high-availability concepts and message brokers like Nginx and RabbitMQ.</li><li>Demonstrated ability for analytic thinking and learning new technologies, complex code and developing system, architecture view and user problems.</li><li>Technical mindset with great attention to detail and an ever positive, can-do attitude.</li><li>Must have working knowledge about monitoring, alerting and dashboarding of operational performance. </li><li>Strong aptitude and penchant for problem solving, algorithm design and system design.</li><li>You are comfortable and enjoy working with dynamic and ever evolving environments.</li><li>Demonstrate use of out-of-box thinking for creative solutions to highly sticky problems.</li><li>You have excellent interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication and are an effective collaborator.</li><li>You'll be a fun and enthusiastic teammate who enjoys a challenge and celebrates success.</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><p>Western Digital thrives on the power and po
