Role overview:

The primary focus of the Manufacturing Quality Engineer is executing product and process controls per the control plan in conjunction with the plant’s production team.  Lead 8D problem resolution process for internal and external raised concern which includes close interaction with Customer Quality Engineer on the problem resolution updates.

This vacancy is based in LEARs Seating plant in Épila, Zaragoza.

 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the approval and maintenance of quality documentation on behalf of quality for the production line/cell
  • Collect, review and react to data collected within the manufacturing process per the Control Plan
  • Participate/lead from Quality dpt process related documentation reviews and activities such as CP, PFMEA, process walks, etc.
  • Ensure compliance to the containment, rework and inspection processes for non conforming product
  • Lead 1 8D problem resolution process per week from initiation to closure for internal issues
  • Collect, review and present quality data from previous day for Fast Response meeting

 

Key skills and Qualifications:

  • Engineering degree preferred
  • Experience in relevant manufacturing processes and technologies
  • Experience in Management Systems
  • External audit qualification in relevant quality systems desirable
  • Expert in problem solving and analytical skills using 8D methodology
  • Competent in quality tools, and process/production control methods
  • Strong communication and coordination skills
  • Demonstrated ability to motivate people
  • 3 years of Quality with manufacturing experience
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
  • English (medium level)
