We have a career growth opportunity for an onsite Senior Tech Support Engineer to join our diverse team supporting Airborne Multi-mode Radar (AMR) Test Automation in direct support of the McKinney Consolidated Manufacturing Center in McKinney, TX.  


The Test Automation Department (TAD) is responsible for the design and development of test equipment hardware and software for a wide range of products and customers. The AMR Test Automation section within TAD is a growing and highly motivated team who consistently provides quality on-time on-cost solutions to support external and internal customers seeking innovative and economical solutions for their product lines. The section also supports change incorporation and obsolescence redesign efforts of various legacy systems in direct support of production capabilities.

What You Will Do

  • Build Test Equipment, circuit boards, and cables
  • Troubleshoot
  • Track asset’s calibration across various Airborne Multi-mode Radars (AMR) programs. 

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of eight (8) years of experience in an electronic test environment
  • Experience building test consoles, test adapters, and/or test cables
  • Experience in the development of test procedures
  • Experience in the troubleshooting of RF equipment, circuit boards, and cables
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

  • Ability to prioritize actions and effectively communicate when assistance is required
  • Strong initiative and desire to grow skillset
  • Ability to help test engineers solve technical issues
  • Ability to independently learn new test equipment with minimum engineering oversite
