Director, Corporate Accounts – OptiFreight® Logistics

The Director, Corporate Accounts is responsible for all GPO sales, contracting and negotiation efforts for the OptiFreight Logistics organization. They will proactively create strategies and influence GPO leaders, representatives, and consultants to position OptiFreight Logistics for success in new sales and current customer retention efforts. The Director will also renegotiate major GPO contracts and develop strategies for current and future use by the OptiFreight Logistics organization to ensure revenue and earnings success.

This position will report directly into the SVP/GM, OptiFreight Logistics.

Accountabilities:

• Set strategy, negotiation, pricing, and terms/conditions for all GPO and Regional Purchasing Coalition relationships

• Establish, maintain, and grow strategic relationships with all GPOs
• Oversee all aspects of routine reporting, business review development and execution with GPOs and Regional Purchasing Organizations / Performance Groups
• Effectively communicate to the field team the value and strategy for selling to customers of each GPO or Regional Purchasing Organization
• High level of collaboration with field team to define strategies and offer input / guidance on local deals (including navigation of economics)
• Collaborates with SVP/GM of OptiFreight Logistics, sales leadership, strategic pricing, finance, customer operations, marketing and field team to execute strategies
• Collaborates with Enterprise Contracting, Strategic Account Leaders to effectively execute OptiFreight Logistics strategies with GPO clients
• Owns development and deployment of working strategies with GPO field sales and client management teams, GPO consultants, and commercial consultants
• Owns primary accountability for selected Regional Purchasing Organizations / Performance Groups inclusive of retention, contract negotiation, ongoing strategic support.
• Serves as a member of the OptiFreight Logistics Senior Leadership Team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
• 7+ years healthcare experience preferred
• Experience with Vizient, Premier, and HealthTrust strongly preferred
• Consultative & results oriented approach
• Analytical skills to develop and implement contract solutions, terms and conditions, compliance, and metrics. Ability to think strategically
• Ability to coordinate, facilitate and organize resources
• Strong leadership capabilities
• Executive presence and solid presentation and communication capabilities.
• Excellent planning, forecasting, negotiation and presentation skills
• Business orientation and financial acumen
• Ability to travel 25% of time

Anticipated base salary range: $112,500 - $175,000
