Join our Global Protection Services team, based in our Jersey City, NJ global headquarters where we have a flexible hybrid work model.
- Review global intelligence feeds for safety/security incidents that may affect Verisk employees, travelers and facilities. Perform assessments to scope the individuals/facilities affected and reach out accordingly to gather status. Examples include, but are not limited to, large scale fires, severe weather, crime, and terrorism.
- Conduct /support GPS investigations by reviewing and analyzing applicable documents, artifacts employee information, financial records, and travel records.
- Support the traveler health program by monitoring health information feeds. Ensure travelers who called in to travel health vendor are appropriately given care and are able to return home.
- Liaison with facility leads and BU managers in preparation for possible crisis incidents. Incidents can include increased geopolitical tensions and civil unrest situations.
- Perform facility assessments, evaluating inherent risks, mitigation actions, and remaining residual risks of safety/security of Verisk global facilities.
- Create a corporate risk assessment and traveler protocols for employees traveling to high-risk locations. These reports are updated annually, or when an employee is planning to travel. Brief the employee and their manager before travel may commence.
- Author, review and update relevant policies, procedures and playbooks.
- Support the Corporate-wide emergency notification system. Provide training and support to local facility/BU’s notification system’s administrators to ensure they have timely messaging capability. Ensure that administration rights are provided appropriately (by BU or facility). Act as main contact with notification system vendor to discuss features or technical issues.
- Maintain relevant databases storing data on GPS activities (such as investigations, incident preparation and incident response).
- Support the traveler health program by monitoring health information feeds. Ensure travelers who called in to travel health vendor are appropriately given care and are able to return home.
- Completes all responsibilities as outlined on annual Performance Plan.
- Completes all special projects and other duties as assigned.
- Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in data Analytics or a risk-related field or 3 - 5 years of relevant experience.
- 3 or more years of experience in global incident response, crisis management and support.
- Strong working knowledge of security management, business operations, risk management, response management and physical security assessments.
- Experience in investigations developing and maintaining case management, interviewing, evidence collection, report preparations and documentation of substantiated findings.
- Strong knowledge of facility assessments and evaluating inherent risks.
- Willing and able to travel on short notice.
- Superior organization and written communication skills, coupled with strong technical writing and / or editorial skills and the ability to develop, document and maintain methodologies and procedures.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office including MS Excel and PowerPoint and experience with vendor risk tracking platforms is a plus.
- Demonstrate superior leadership, consulting, analysis, presentation and project management skills.
- Ability to work independently on multiple projects with minimal supervision and meet aggressive deadlines is essential.
- Knowledge of RSA’s Archer GRC portal, ServiceNow, Microsoft E-discovery and emergency mass communications platforms is highly desirable.
