The Opportunity
We are seeking an innovative Senior Actuarial Analyst to join our growing Actuarial team. The Senior Actuarial Analyst will be responsible for developing and maintaining models used for the Lenders Protection® program. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and communication skills, with 4-5 years of actuarial experience.

What You’ll Do:
- Analyze model performance and identify opportunities for enhancement using advanced predictive analytics
- Use problem-solving and strategic thinking to achieve the goals of Open Lending, it’s insurance carrier partners, and our lender customers
- Communicate complex pricing concepts to senior leadership and non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
- Bring your domain knowledge, specifically in property and casualty insurance and risk management to cross-functional teams within the organization. Work closely with other departments such as Risk, Claims, Data, and IT to deliver valuable solutions to business problems
- Continue to develop your actuarial skillset through ongoing education, training, and progression through actuarial exams
What You’ll Bring:
- BS in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
- Near ACAS or better with 4+ years of actuarial experience, preferably in a pricing role
- Proficiency in SQL
- Proficient with statistical programming languages like Python or R and data visualization software such as Power BI or Tableau
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
