Job Description Summary
The HR Operations and Program Manager is responsible for the effective and consistent coordination and implementation of HR business processes, functions and procedures and monitors HR projects and workflow.
What You’ll Do
Manage HR Analytics
- Create and streamline HR reporting as needed for regulatory requests, internal and external audits, Board of Director meetings and associated committees, various Wintrust operation committees, entity level reporting and HR based needs through both external consultants and departmental builds.
- Leverage technology with repeatable processes reducing manual intervention on weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reporting where possible.
- Create and enhance Workday Dashboards.
- Partner with COE’s to enhance and maintain KPI’s and KRI’s for HR to mitigate risk and identify escalations related to performance as needed.
- Manage, mentor, and develop direct reports. Responsible for communicating timely feedback, objectives and goals.
HR Service Center Manager
- Manage the HR Service center team. Manage, mentor, and develop the team. Responsible for communicating timely feedback, objectives, goals and SLAs.
- Utilize Salesforce CRM system to report on team member inquiries and partner with COEs to address escalated employee issues.
Audit and Policies/Procedures
- Ensure compliance with all required policies and develop procedures for HR community. Provide training materials/guides for HR processes.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance
- Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Partner with Employee Communications and COEs to prepare communications for HR activities for employees/managers (Ie – Payroll communications, changes to Workday and other HR systems, policies, procedures).
- Maintain HR SharePoint and Egnyte systems and partner with IT regarding data requirements
- Partner with Internal Audit, Compliance and HR COE’s to ensure all compliance/audit reviews or exams are completed, managing responses and mitigating findings.
Projects
- Support and/or lead deployment of projects and programs for both HR and enterprise needs that include but are not limited to project documentation (gap analysis, business case, financials, and projections), project management, change management, implementation and communication. Partnering with external consultants and internal team members to identify key milestones, socialize decisions while meeting deadlines and budget.
