Senior Finance Business Partner

We are looking for an experienced Finance Business Partner to support Transportation & Infrastructure, WSP Sweden’s largest sector, with more than 1,000 employees and managing the most complex infrastructure projects. The role is based in our new Stockholm office in Marievik and is part of a team of five, reporting to the Head of Finance Business Partnering.

In this role, you will provide sector leadership with financial insight and decision support, lead budgeting, forecasting and month-end closing, analyse performance, identify key drivers, and recommend actions to improve results. You will also contribute to the wider finance agenda through collaboration and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Own the sector’s financial performance, including its project portfolio

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and month-end closing for the sector

• Participate in business reviews, drive the financial agenda, and support operational alignment

• Partner with business leaders to improve profitability and reduce capital employed

• Contribute to the development of systems, tools, and processes

• Act as a change leader within both the business and the finance function

• Deliver ad hoc analyses and support strategic planning

Qualifications

• Strong financial acumen, including solid understanding of P&L, balance sheet, and performance drivers

• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis

• Excellent analytical skills and a structured approach to problem-solving

• Proven experience supporting strategic business initiatives

• Advanced proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems, and budgeting/forecasting tools

• Master’s degree or equivalent

• At least five, preferably more than ten, years of relevant experience
