About the Role:
Within the offered role, your responsibility will mainly be to be part of the Ready Upgrade Hardware and Mechanics team. You will be involved in planning and execution of dedicated product development tasks.
You will also focus on Functional Safety and C-Sec aspects with respect to automotive solutions.
Your Team:
You will be part of the Ready Upgrade Hardware and Mechanics team in SBU Intelligent-Cockpit and directly report to a manager in Karlsbad/Germany. The team is splitted to the locations Karlsbad/Germany and Bucharest/Romania. You will be located in Bucharest/Romania.
What You Will Do:
- Development, test and verification of analog and digital functional blocks (e.g. power supplies, MCU/SoC units, …).
- Working in a team to realize complex hardware architectures.
- Consideration of quality, cost, Harman Guidelines, FuSa/C-Sec requirements.
- Perform technical measurements on our products (EMC, Thermal, functional).
- Support in design, creation and implementation of hardware and test software for infotainment computer systems
- Creation of test reports and technical documentation
- Schematic entry and PCB layout inspection
- Specificcation of the technical requirements for purchased parts, of functional blocks, and the evaluation and selection of suitable supplier
- Global cooperation with other departments as Mechanical Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing and Software development
- Maintenance support of our products
What You Need:
- Minimum of bachelor degree in engineering (Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering or appropriate graduation)
- 3 up to 5 years professional experience in the HW development and verification of analog/digital applications and standalone functional units
- Knowledge of tools for schematic/layout realization and simulation (e.g. Mentor Graphics, SPICE, …) as well as Microsoft applications
- Knowledge of the requirements inside the automotive area, especially for EMC
- Good knowledge in spoken and written English
- Knowledge of commonly used interfaces in infotainment systems (PCIe, UART, TDM, Video-, I2C, I2S, USB …) appreciated
- Basic knowledge Software (LINUX, , Android) in the automotive environment
- Experience with software programming for automation of tests (e.g. bash scripts, python,LabView, VB…)
- Knowledge of commonly used memory technology in infotainment systems (LP5 DRAM, UFS 3.1, Octa SPI NOR flash)
