DESCRIPTION
Michael Baker is actively searching for a dynamic, highly skilled Program Manager with a experience in in transportation engineering, planning, and/or construction services to join our Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission (PTC) General Consulting Engineer (GCE) team in the Harrisburg, PA office. Our ideal candidate should embody a superior standard of customer service through critical thinking skills, a diverse, well-rounded technical expertise, and the ability to collaborate with a diverse range of organizations and individuals, all while embodying a superior standard of customer service.
This position will play a pivotal role in spearheading tasks supporting planning, engineering, asset management, construction, and other technical services that Michael Baker provides to support the PTC. This role will encompass a wide variety of technical assignments as well as value-added services for the Engineering and other PTC Departments. This position also collaborates closely with other Michael Baker GCE team members by assisting with comprehensive reports and analysis on strategic, operational, and quality programs for the PTC.

PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Planning or other related field
- Experience in Transportation desired
- Registered Professional Engineer (PE) or American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) in the state of PA is desired or successful reciprocity from another state
- Experience working with the PTC, PennDOT, or other state agencies
- Tolling experience desired but not required
- Possess strong critical thinking skills while striving for quality and financial excellence
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including report preparation, presentation, and problem-solving skills
- Strong track record of overseeing successful project delivery
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment with strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite
COMPENSATION
The approximate compensation range for this position is $100,942- $174,870 in Harrisburg, PA. This compensation range is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation is dependent upon factors such as education, qualifications, experience, skillset, and physical work location.
