Tutoring position for Dr. Mais (MSPM I, PT 535-01)
Responsibilities
•Schedule and provide tutoring sessions; tutors may work around their own schedules but must notify tutees of their availability well in advance;
•Tutors are expected to assist tutees with study strategies and approaches to learning and test taking, not just reiterate course content.
•Tutors should work toward facilitating tutees’ understanding of key concepts, relationships, and clinical application, if appropriate;
•Tutors are encouraged to work with tutees’ learning styles and to assist with critical thinking, problem-solving, and clinical reasoning, to the degree possible;
•Tutees must abide by the applicable university student employment policies.
