This Senior Supervisor position will support manufacturing operations for formulation, chromatography, and clean out of place (COP) within a controlled space environment. 

The person in this position will have a team of biochemists, laboratory technicians and/or operators reporting to them.  The key areas of focus include safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and productivity.  Employee development and fostering a positive cross shift dynamic will be essential in this role. 2nd shift hours: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM

 

Potential candidates must be able to:

 

  • Convey their effectiveness in communicating both verbally and in written form.  The ability to communicate is critical to the successful delivery of information to customers and the manufacturing work-center with regard to priorities and expectations.

 

  • Provide history supporting excellent time management skills to successfully manage the range of responsibilities associated with this role. 

 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Managing second shift personnel, materials/inventory, production order distribution, batch record auditing, process related investigations/escalation, training, equipment support/response, SAP transactions, deviation investigation/resolution, cross-department and cross-shift collaboration.

 

  • Demonstrating a strong understanding of cGMP manufacturing in a controlled environment, as well as an understanding of ISO requirements.  The expectation would be to provide leadership and direction to ensure compliance in these areas.

 

  • Explaining the level of experience and demonstrated independence in performing Corrective Action / Preventative Action investigations and the implementation of the associated plans. This capability will be essential in this role. 

 

Educational requirement:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent industry experience.

 

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of cGMP manufacturing in a controlled environment and ISO requirements.

  • Demonstrated experience and independence in performing CAPA investigations and implementing plans.

  • Ability to present information in technical or scientific writing format.

  • Experience in presenting data in table and graphic charts in Excel. 

  • Experience with Mini-tab or other statistical tools is a plus, but not a requirement.

The base pay range for this position is:

Min $95,770 - Max $143,650

Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

If this is a commission eligible position the commission eligibility will be in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan. Commissions are based on individual performance and/or company performance.
