Mon-Fri Flexible between 8 AM- 8 PM Los Angeles time

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Electrical Design Engineer with experience in blueprint design, electrical load calculations, and code compliance research. This role requires a strong foundation in electrical engineering, the ability to interpret and produce technical drawings, and the capability to ensure all designs meet current electrical codes and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop detailed electrical blueprints for residential, commercial, or industrial projects
Perform electrical load calculations to ensure system capacity and safety
Research and apply relevant local, state, and national electrical codes
Review and interpret engineering specifications and customer requirements
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction teams to ensure accurate implementation of plans
Revise designs based on feedback or site requirements
Ensure all drawings are complete, accurate, and documented appropriately
Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes
Requirements
Proven experience in electrical engineering and blueprint design
Proficiency with CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, or similar)
Strong knowledge of electrical load calculations and circuit design
Familiarity with NEC, IEC, or other relevant electrical codes
Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Engineering degree or technical diploma in electrical design (preferred)
Experience with permitting or utility submittals is a plus
