Electrical Design Engineer | ZR_27017_JOB

This is a remote position.

Schedule:

• 20 hours per week
  

• Mon-Fri Flexible between 8 AM- 8 PM Los Angeles time 
  

Client Timezone: Pacific Time Zone

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop detailed electrical blueprints for residential, commercial, or industrial projects
  

• Perform electrical load calculations to ensure system capacity and safety
  

• Research and apply relevant local, state, and national electrical codes
  

• Review and interpret engineering specifications and customer requirements
  

• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction teams to ensure accurate implementation of plans
  

• Revise designs based on feedback or site requirements
  

• Ensure all drawings are complete, accurate, and documented appropriately
  

• Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes
  

Requirements

• Proven experience in electrical engineering and blueprint design
  

• Proficiency with CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, or similar)
  

• Strong knowledge of electrical load calculations and circuit design
  

• Familiarity with NEC, IEC, or other relevant electrical codes
  

• Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  

• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  

• Engineering degree or technical diploma in electrical design (preferred)
  

• Experience with permitting or utility submittals is a plus
