Our company is currently recruiting an experienced Housekeeping and Laundry Director for a long-term care facility in Syracuse, NY.  Housekeeping and Laundry Director position is responsible for managing and overseeing the housekeeping and laundry services to ensure facility standards. 

Housekeeping and Laundry Director Key Duties

• Develop and manage housekeeping and laundry programs, policies, schedules, and Dept. Of Health survey process
• Conduct regular inspections to maintain cleanliness standards.
• Manage and train housekeeping staff in cleaning protocols and safety procedures.
• Oversee inventory management of cleaning supplies and equipment. 
• Handle scheduling, budgeting, and reporting related to housekeeping operations.
• Perform other job-related duties as they become required.
  
  

Housekeeping and Laundry Director Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years of Environmental Services experience in Skilled Nursing Facilities, hospital, and our healthcare required.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations, and survey process.
