WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Develop and design control systems for Anduril’s wide range of airbreathing engines, including piston and turbine applications
- Develop engine control systems including FADEC’s, ECU’s and related hardware
- Develop or select actuators sensors, connectors and architecture for engine control systems
- Develop or select electrical machines used as starters and generators for engine systems
- Design embedded electronics from concept to functional prototype, including hardware selection, schematic & PCB design, board bring-up, and system level integration
- Work on the coolest engines in the aviation business
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechatronics or Electronics Engineering
- 5-7 years relevant engineering experience in automotive / passenger car / commercial vehicle / aerospace / defense industry, especially in electrical systems engineering or engine control
- Understanding of DC/DC controllers, battery charger controllers, High Voltage 3-phase motors controllers
- Experience in working with control actuation systems that employ permanent magnet brush and brushless DC motor technology
- Work closely with other electrical, mechanical, software, firmware, and test engineers to deliver fully functional products
- Competence with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, debuggers, current-probes, and automation of tests
- Proficient with Altium Designer or equivalent electronic design automation design tools
- Proficiency with C/C++ and common languages (Python, Rust, Haskell, etc.)
- U.S. Person status is required as this position needs to access export controlled data
