ABOUT THE ROLE

As the world’s largest owner of healthcare properties, we are driving the future of healthcare infrastructure—and we’re looking for an experienced SharePoint & Microsoft 365 professional to help shape the next chapter of our digital workplace strategy.
The SharePoint & Microsoft 365 Systems Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, administering, and optimizing our enterprise SharePoint Online environment, while also managing other Microsoft 365 services. This role will focus on delivering engaging, user-friendly SharePoint solutions, workflows, and governance frameworks that drive efficiency, collaboration, and compliance across the organization.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
SharePoint Strategy, Administration & Development
- Architect, configure, and maintain enterprise SharePoint Online environments, including site collections, hub sites, lists, libraries, and metadata taxonomy.
- Design and implement governance frameworks, lifecycle policies, and compliance standards to ensure consistent site performance and content security.
- Develop and customize SharePoint templates, pages, and navigation to deliver intuitive and engaging user experiences across devices.
- Create and manage role-based permissions, auditing tools, and security settings to protect sensitive content.
- Migrate legacy intranet or collaboration systems into modern SharePoint architectures while ensuring design consistency and high adoption rates.
Workflow Automation & Power Platform Integration
- Design, develop, and deploy Power Automate workflows to streamline business processes, reducing manual work and operational inefficiencies.
- Build and maintain Power Apps forms and applications integrated with SharePoint and Microsoft 365 services.
- Implement automated site provisioning, reporting, and content lifecycle handling via PowerShell scripting and Microsoft Graph API.
Microsoft 365 Administration & Support
- Administer core Microsoft 365 services, including Teams, OneDrive, Exchange Online, and Azure AD (Entra ID) in alignment with SharePoint initiatives.
- Provide Tier 2/3 support for SharePoint- and Microsoft 365-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
- Configure and monitor Microsoft Security & Compliance features, including DLP, retention policies, and conditional access.
Training, Adoption & Stakeholder Collaboration
- Partner with IT and business stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze workflows, and deliver tailored SharePoint solutions that meet organizational needs.
- Develop and deliver engaging training sessions, recorded tutorials, and user guides to promote self-service adoption.
- Monitor site performance, usage trends, and adoption metrics, reporting insights to leadership.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience managing SharePoint Online in a mid-to-large enterprise setting.
- Proven track record in SharePoint workflow design, governance implementation, and intranet development.
