As a Payroll & Benefits Administrator, you’ll ensure our team is paid accurately and on time. You’ll manage the four-weekly payroll cycle, handle communication with our payroll provider, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders as part of the Finance Team. But payroll here isn’t just about pushing buttons - it’s about innovation. With Picnic growing fast, you’ll help streamline processes, integrate smart tech solutions, support year-end audits, and provide key payroll insights to the People Team.

Tricks of the trade

• Salary payment control: Review, approve, and control four-weekly salary payments.
• Payment process development: Continuously develop our payment process, including participation in tech initiatives to create a scalable homegrown system solution.
• Payroll accounting: Prepare and execute payroll accounting for a defined group of employees.
• Data management: Maintain and track changes affecting payroll, such as new hires, terminations, and salary adjustments.
• Employee support: Handle all payroll-related tasks and ensure the well-being of employees, including pension registration, timely sick pay, and coordination of social security communication with UWV.
• Stakeholder management: Manage internal and external stakeholders, including payroll providers, finance teams, and HR.

Your superpowers

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, HR or similar
• Very good knowledge of MS Excel or Google Sheet (if possible VBA and/or JavaScript knowledge)
• 3-5 years experience in the fields of payroll, payments, HR or Finance
• Initial experience with an HCM system is advantageous
• A very responsible and accurate way of working
• Ability to effectively set priorities and communicate payment progress
• Fluent in Dutch and English
