The US Federal Governments Markets Division is chartered with being the premier, compliant supplier of world-class communications solutions to the U.S. Federal Government by providing the highest quality products, systems and services. The USFGMD will achieve this with a professional, well-trained, diverse work force creating a positive and profitable customer relationship resulting in Total Customer Satisfaction and growth of our business. The Federal Systems Technology department of the USFGMD is responsible for service supporting a charter of implementing and integrating complex systems sold worldwide to The US Federal Government. This position provides contractual, administrative and operational support for the U.S. Air Force's Global Sustainment Program at Motorola, which supports the U.S. Air Force's worldwide Enterprise Land Mobile Radio System (LMR) providing public safety communications for the U.S. Air Force, Space Force and Army.
Job Description
US Air Force Land Mobile Radio (LMR) system today is a robust, ultra-complex, multi-zone ASTRO systems on different system releases and using varying technologies. This position will work with the Motorola's Air Force Service Team, Presale and Postsale teams, engineering, project managers, customer service managers, the Air Force Program Manager and DoD Director of Global Sustainment. This position will support the Air Force Team at Motorola with administrative, contractual, logistical and operation support. Some, but not all duties may include logistics and shipping, logistics planning, administrative reports, editing and reviewing reports, assisting with financials, contractual loading and support, conference call setup and support, ordering and procurement, order tracking, inventory tracking, oversight of administrative processes or dcustomer deliverables, ticket handling and assignment and other duties needed to support the U.S. Air Force.
Responsibilities include providing administrative support to the Program and Program personnel, Director of DoD Sustainment Services and Program Manager.
- Provide conference call support, setup, logistics, note taking, uploading reports into company and government systems.
Read and understand contracts and contract requirements.
Provide administrative support to the team and management
Provide logistics planning and on-site support if needed
Assist with tracking and managing tickets for system related issues and other company or government systems
Coordinate, develop, format, review, edit and submit system reports and government CDRL's, without errors, to management, for review prior to being sent to the Air Force
Assist with loading of contracts into contract management tools
Provide basic financial and budget support
Providing operational system support
Assisting with or ordering and procurement of supplies and equipment
All other duties as assigned by the Program Manager or Director
Specific Knowledge/Skills:
A bachelors degree (may be substituted with equivalent work experience in this field as determined by the hiring manager)
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Google apps and Google suites, and other evelavant systems
Excellent communications skills, including interpersonal skills
Strong self management skills and a high work ethic
Results driven and oriented
The ability to read, understand and interpret contracts as well as understanding basic financial accounting principles and budgets
Excellent writing skills and the ability to proofread, edit and format written documents and reports to a high professional level, within minimal errors
Must have a current, valid driver’s license and no traffic violations that would not permit driving for work
Must be able to report to the Richmond Office as a work location
