About the role

The Program Director – Advanced Provider Compensation designs and manages Advanced Practice Provider compensation ensuring integration and alignment of pay with overall company goals and objectives. This role develops, implements, and evaluates IU Health's APP compensation programs, including base pay, incentive pay, and performance management programs in alignment with Provider Compensation constructs and guidelines. This role is responsible for job analysis and evaluation, salary administration, analysis of compensation surveys, and solves complex compensation issues for IU Health APP client groups acting as the consultant to leadership regarding program application, refinement, and interpretation. This role collaborates with senior leadership to ensure that strategy and programs support the business objectives and meet all legal requirements. This role provides subject matter expertise and guidance to leaders and other professionals regarding APP compensation recommendations, strategy, administration, procedures and policies, and communication.

QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • Bachelor's Degree is required. Master's Degree is preferred.
  • Requires 7-10 years of relevant experience.
  • Requires 7-10 years of relevant experience with demonstrated outcomes in APP/Provider compensation management.   
  • Requires experience with matrix organization and complex work environment.
  • Requires proficiency in MS office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

Reports to: Vice President - Human Resources, IU Health Physicians Medical Group
Other Key Relationships: IU Health Medical Group CNO & Advanced Practice Leader, IU Health Vice President Total Rewards & Shared Services, Physician Compensation, Human Resources, Chief Practice Officers and Chief Physician Executives, and Provider Recruiting.


This is a hybrid role and will be based in Indianapolis, IN.
