To meet students where they are, we will host summer internships in both a virtual and in-person format. Opportunities listed will either be in-person (requiring an intern to work from an NBCU office location 3-5 days per week) based on the location mentioned or virtual, depending on business needs.
In addition to all of our internships being paid, we will also offer the following for our Summer 2023 interns:
- Paid company holidays for full-time interns.
- Robust networking, learning and development opportunities for all interns, whether in-person or virtual.
- Financial assistance to offset expenses for transportation and housing may be available on a needs-based basis for eligible in-person interns. More details about eligibility for this assistance will be provided at the time of offer.
Job Description
Summer 2023 Internship Program:

- Time Commitment: 40 hours per week. Exact schedule to be determined based on business need.

The Universal Filmed Entertainment Group (UFEG) consists of the operations to produce, acquire, market and distribute filmed entertainment worldwide in various media formats for theatrical, home entertainment, television and other distribution platforms. The division operates globally with colleagues spread across 20 countries. We pride ourselves in supporting and amplifying diverse stories told by unique voices. Internships & Responsibilities may include (but are not limited to):
- Business Development & Strategy: execution of CRM program, compiling and modifying assets, working with email vendor to ensure successful creation and deployment or campaigns, data insights and analysis, performing competitive research to identify new CRM opportunities, collaborate on testing strategy to continuously iterate and improve the customer experience
- Controllership: support the Controllership team with monthly and quarterly closing processes, preparation of journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations and corporate data requests
- Creative Technologies: find solutions in the virtual production space, build 3D CG assets, optimize assets for real-time rendering for virtual production, and help test new ideas & assets
- Finance & FP&A: improve accuracy and efficiency of monthly forecasting process, creating new financial models and trackers, day-to-day operations – financial consolidation, territory forecasting calls, and submitting corporate financials, and assist in regression refresh
- Information Systems Services: Work with data through the front-end of applications as directed and prepare data for programmatic updating working interactively with our Technology teams
- Human Resources: supporting the Global Distribution HR team, intern will gain exposure to entertainment industry processes that support the needs of our employees and our multi-billion-dollar global media business
- Sales: log all incoming agreements & amendments, prepare and distribute internal sales reports, and assist in processing orders for content
