Senior Test EngineerPraxis Engineering seeks a Senior Test Engineer with multi-disciplinary skills to include task leadership, interactions at all levels of technical and management, process skills, the ability to create new procedures and documents and a proven desire to be successful in an engineering environment within the federal sector.
What you will be doing:The Senior Test Engineer will be responsible for general systems engineering, testing, troubleshooting and problem resolution. This requires understanding the complex interdependencies with integrating new and legacy systems. The role involves the following:

Supporting a Leadership Team consisting of the Program Manager, Systems Engineering Lead, Product Line Manager, and Test Director in tracking issue resolution, identifying and addressing solutions to mitigate and manage program-level risks, updating and contributing to the IMS, and reporting progress on development and interoperability test activities
Lead a team of test engineers supporting both cross-team and program objectives
Applying investigative skills in problem solving and developing criteria to evaluate and select alternative solutions to technical challenges
Lead routine meetings and facilitate technical exchange meetings between SMEs, stakeholders, and management
Assisting with updating documentation to reflect changes to the system, to include SOPs and knowledge modules

What you need:

Twenty (20) years of experience as a Test Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity are required. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional Test Engineering experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree.
Ability to manage competing priorities and be flexible with shifting timelines
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multiple integrated product teams
Ability to work with all levels of management and suppliers supporting different contract vehicles to achieve overall program mission-level objectives
Experience in metrics gathering to improve progress tracking and develop KPIs for performance testing

Clearance: Active TS/SCI with an appropriate polygraph is required to be considered for this role

Salary range:
$144,251.00 - $271,085.00 (Annually)*
