The Impact You’ll Make
Join Lam as a Business Operations Analyst, where you'll spearhead process improvement initiatives. With your systems knowledge and business process acumen, you expertly collect and analyze data, evaluate processes, develop metrics, and identify root causes with data-driven indicators for future improvements. Organizing cross-functional project teams, you communicate team progress and survey best practices, showcasing your commitment to operational excellence at Lam.
In this role you will be pivotal in driving execution of BDSO’s Finished Goods Inventory (FGI) float, capital tool and NSR escalation processes as well as drive/support continuous improvement activities critical to the organization’s success. The role will work closely with PG and GOPS as well as BDSO to align and resolve issues both short and long term. The ideal candidate exhibits a sense of urgency as needed and strong accountability and sense of ownership.
The role has a hybrid schedule, and you will be required to work onsite at least three days per week at LAM’s facility in Fremont or Tualatin.
This role will be located either in Tualatin, OR or Fremont, CA
What You’ll Do
- Act as the single point of contact (SPOC) for business development sales operations (BDSO) for non-standard requests (NSR) escalations and driving resolution with GPG engineering management to achieved required NSR prioritization. Drive and maintain the master NSR escalation list.
- Drive management and reporting for FGI to align consumption and minimization of FGI inventory with BDSO and PG stakeholders.
- Act as the SPOC within BDSO for FGI float config reviews with product managers and slotting with Order Fulfillment and management of FGI floats until consumed by actual demand.
- Act as the SPOC within BDSO for Capital tool config reviews with product managers and slotting with Order Fulfillment and management of Capital tools until shipment
- Assist with BDSO raw material float support as needed
- Drive and/or support Continuous Improvement activities for BDSO Demand Management team
Who We’re Looking For
- Minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 6 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 3 years experience; or equivalent experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business or related field
- Candidates must have the confidence and communication skills to inform and influence at all organizational levels, including the executive level.
- Proficient in Microsoft suite, with advanced Excel skills and SAP and CRM experience. Power BI or other related experience preferred.
- Advanced analytical skills to interpret and utilize data for decision making
- Excellent verbal and written communication with experience influencing stakeholders
- Semiconductor industry or global supplier experience
Preferred Qualifications
Eight (8) years of related experience in Program Management, Business Operations, Operations Planning or Sales Operations, preferably in the semiconductor industry
