Senior Front-end Software Engineer

What does a successful Senior Front-end Software Engineer do at Fiserv? 
As a highly skilled and experienced engineer on our dynamic technology team, you'll bring your deep understanding of modern web technologies and extensive experience in building scalable, responsive, and visually appealing user interfaces to creative cohesive products that encapsulate digital innovation and transformation.

What you will do:

• Work with cross-functional teams, including designers, developers, and product managers, to deliver exceptional software solutions
• Write reliable, maintainable, and scalable code and develop high-quality, user-friendly interfaces using React.js
• Build robust back-end services to ensure seamless data integration and functionality
• Streamline the development process and enhance performance by creating and maintaining reusable web components
• Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and ensure adherence to best practices and industry standards
• Collaborate with quality assurance engineers for system testing, integration testing, and regression testing
• Provide necessary support to business users during the user acceptance testing phase and collaborate with the deployment team for smooth implementation, with necessary support after implementation

What you will need to have:

• 10+ years of experience in software development
• 7+ years of experience in JavaScript, Node,js, React,js, GraphQL and microservices
• 5+ years of experience with architecture styles/APIs (REST, RPC)
• 5+ years of experience working in Agile methodologies
• Current experience supporting engineering and product development for Fiserv Digital Solutions
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, or equivalent combination of work, education, and/or military experience

What would be great to have: 

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks
• Experience with Jenkins (or equivalent), Redis, and MongoDB (or equivalent)
• Experience with Kubernetes on Azure and OpenShift

Salary Range

$124,300.00 - $213,100.00

These pay ranges apply to employees in New York and California. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.
