Description

🌟 Lead Caregiver (LCG) – Grow with Purpose. Lead with Heart. 🌟

At KIDS, we don’t just provide care - we create connection, empowerment, and opportunity.
We believe great caregivers deserve a clear path to grow their careers, and that’s where our Lead Caregiver program comes in!

As a Lead Caregiver, you’ll be the bridge between our caregiving team in the field and our office support team - helping new members and families feel welcomed, mentoring caregivers, and stepping in to ensure care never skips a beat. This is a role for the best of the best: leaders who can inspire others, solve problems with grace, and deliver exceptional care every time.

Starting Wage: $22-$26/hour Based on Experience

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM with some flexibility

Location: Lane County

Position Type: Hybrid

🌻 What You’ll Do as a Lead Caregiver

  • Step In When Needed – Plan, coordinate, or provide coverage for families when caregivers are on PTO or unavailable, ensuring seamless support for members

  • Welcome & Onboard – Meet new members and families, and help new caregivers hit the ground running

  • Coach & Mentor – Offer training, feedback, and encouragement to help caregivers grow and thrive

  • Represent KIDS in Your Community – Attend member meetings, recruiting events, and interviews to help connect the right people with the right support

  • Keep the Team Flowing – Collaborate with Care Coordinators to ensure members and caregivers are always matched with the right fit

🏆 Who We’re Looking For | Our Lead Caregivers have a track record of excellence!

  • Consistent, reliable, and praised for their care

  • Open to coaching and able to offer feedback

  • Natural leaders with emotional maturity and professional boundaries

  • Skilled at time management and staying organized

  • Calm under pressure, with a “solutions-first” mindset

  • Committed to both personal and professional growth

  • Reliable transportation (valid driver’s license, insurance, and access to your own vehicle)

LCG's will help with supporting each of the Care Coordinators; however, their top 5 priorities will be:

  • Covering open shifts—whether new to KIDS, waiting on a pairing, or covering PTO for their caregiver

  • Providing observations & training as needed

  • Attending meet & greets, first shifts, interviewing caregivers, ISP meetings, etc., as backup when the CC cannot make it (this should be rare)

  • Assisting with auditing, shift notes for coaching, supporting 5-star review completions, and following up on documents

  • Supporting the Care Team, Recruiting, and the office team for community events

🌟 Perks & Benefits You’ll Love 🌟

  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage options

  • Group & voluntary life insurance options

  • 401(k) with up to 3% company match after 90 days

  • Paid Time Off (PTO)

  • Healthiest You Program – Available after 60 days for full-time team members, giving you 24/7 access to virtual healthcare
