Background

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) is advancing with its HR Modernization 2.0 initiative, a strategic collaboration between the Human Resources Department (HRD) and the Information Technology Department (ITD). This project aims to refine and enhance the Human Resource function and the HRD Service Delivery model through a comprehensive approach, including sustaining and improving existing systems, simplifying policies, and implementing new modules within Workday, such as the leave of absences and potentially Workday Extend.

To address the Cloud Support growing demands from HR modernization, the Project Officer will be integrated into the Cloud Support team. Under the guidance of the Unit Chief for the Digital Finance and Human Resources Unit in ITD, and in collaboration with the Workday Platform Family Owner, who also serves as the Workday team lead, along with HRD functional administrators, the Project Officer will focus on supporting the Workforce Planning area. This includes leveraging analytics opportunities, translating IMF-wide business requirements into Workday enhancements, and ensuring timely, complete, and satisfactory delivery of Workday configurations while adhering to governance rules.

ITD would like to engage Agustin Spinelli on a Short-Term Contractual (STC) assignment starting on September 2nd, 2025, and through April 30, 2026 (for up to a total of 90 working days).

Responsibilities:

• Workforce Planning Configuration: Configure and maintain the Workforce Planning module within Workday, ensuring it meets organizational needs and adheres to best practices.
• Analytics and Reporting: Develop and customize reports and dashboards specific to Workforce Planning, utilizing Workday's reporting tools to provide insights into workforce trends and analytics.
• Testing and Quality Assurance: Conduct comprehensive testing of Workforce Planning configurations and reports to ensure functionality and accuracy, addressing any discrepancies or issues promptly.
• User Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users on Workforce Planning functionalities, assisting with troubleshooting and resolving user inquiries related to workforce data.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of Workforce Planning configurations and processes to support knowledge transfer and compliance.
• Compliance and Data Governance: Ensure that all Workforce Planning processes comply with relevant regulations and organizational policies, with a strong focus on data security and privacy.
• Enhancements and Upgrades: Participate in system upgrades and enhancements, assessing new features and functionalities in Workday to improve Workforce planning area.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate closely with functional administrators, business analysts, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure Workday Workforce Planning solutions align with business needs.
• Issue Resolution: Diagnose and resolve issues related to Workforce Planning functionalities, working with Workday support as needed to ensure seamless operation and data integrity.
