Tidepool Loop is a project to build and support an FDA-regulated version of Loop, to be available in the iOS App Store, intended to work with commercially available insulin pumps and CGMs. Tidepool Loop is not currently available for use.

Tidepool is seeking an experienced Program Manager to guide our products from concept to release.
As a Program Manager at Tidepool, you'll lead cross-functional teams in product planning, partner management, software development, deployment, and change management. You will be responsible for maintaining and communicating timelines, tracking and monitoring risks, and translating business requirements to software requirements with the product team(s) to ensure on-time launches and successful execution. Additionally, you will own our product feedback loop process and play a critical role in facilitating the collection, evaluation, prioritization, and incorporation of user feedback into our product development process.
The ideal candidate for this role is a data-driven leader with a proven track record of fostering alignment with partners and internal stakeholders and cultivating a culture of transparency and accountability.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Serve as the external and internal point of contact for key partners. Manage complex schedules that involve both internal and external teams, across hardware and software.
- Develop and maintain project artifacts (timeline, project management plan, budget, etc.) that support team communication, and efficiency.
- Provide input for developing launch materials, such as kick-off materials, meeting agendas, minutes, decision logs, charters, and user acceptance testing plans. Collaborate with business development, sales, marketing, and fundraising to ensure that customer-facing teams are ready with the information and processes required to support new products and go-to-market plans.
- Work cross-functionally with product team(s) and eng/data team(s) to evaluate the success of recent feature launches and projects brought to completion. Gather and maintain reports for KPIs, metrics, and milestones.
- Provide regular updates on new features and capabilities to stakeholders and build consensus around roadmaps and success metrics.
- Drive product excellence through collaboration and communication. Partner closely with product design, research, software engineering, quality engineering, marketing, business development, sales, clinical, regulatory, and technical support.
- Use Tidepool’s task management system, Jira, to track development progress.
- Run agile ceremonies, including stand-ups and retrospectives.
- Support program governance with internal and external stakeholders
- Have a pulse on how the team is doing against their goals and biggest opportunity areas, and drop in as needed to better understand risks, opportunities, and blockers. Review the performance of the team with product and engineering leadership.
- Own the internal product feedback process cross-functionally with Sales / Marketing / Business Development & iterate if necessary. Obtain product feedback creatively, consistently, and in an actionable manner.
- Partner with stakeholders cross-functionally to deeply understand operational opportunities and workflow efficiencies and drive workflow efficiencies across teams.
- In partnership with product and engineering leadership, develop a team strategy that will enable team members to develop toward their professional goals and ensure there is adequate team member support that enables us to reach our goals.
- Evaluate & effectively communicate product updates to stakeholders. Ensure that stakeholders are getting effective and adequate transparency into product updates.
- Advocate for the team's efforts and communicate regularly (regarding critical or ongoing issues, project updates, and other items) to keep necessary partners informed of resolution plans.
- Creates and maintains Design History File for FDA-regulated programs.
