 Under the direction of Manager - Aftermarket Parts, supervises, directs, and coordinates all activities associated with receiving, storing, picking, packaging, and shipping service parts and domestic/international engines.

Specific responsibilities:

  • Maintain a consistent workflow by directly assigning and supervising hourly employees to receive, store, pick, pack, and ship parts/engines for customer orders.
  • Develop and maintain an adequate work force in accordance with workload requirements by providing job training, proper staffing, and scheduling of overtime as required to meet LOTIF objectives.
  • Review job procedures and employee performance by constant evaluation of output and production levels to maintain expected level of performance. Respectfully manage under performing associates.
  • Administer company policies by evaluating and rating employees, recommending increases, transfers, and other employee changes to ensure proper employee classification. Enforces all company rules and policies of which the most frequent are Respectful Workplace, safety, personnel and housekeeping.
  • Initiates corrective action procedures and improvements in processes / methods to insure efficient and proper location of materials and timely delivery to production areas. 
  • Direct packaging activities such that a first-in / first-out method of processing is utilized to ensure that material flow meets scheduled picking & stock replenishments to meet production order finished dates in SAP.
  • Order material via Ariba & internal maintenance stores as needed to support production.
  • Manage / expedite / print customer orders as necessary to meet delivery commitments.
  • Assist in dealing with inventory discrepancies and locating parts.
  • Understand and be capable of troubleshooting equipment such as the VSU, printers, scanners, & baggers.
  • Coordinate with outside contractors to fix or perform preventative maintenance on GPS equipment as necessary.
  • Support the Cycle Counting Program execution.
  • Prepares reports, works on special projects, or performs other duties as directed by Management.

Skills/Requirements:

  • Minimum of an associate’s degree in a Business / Operations Management related field OR equivalent work experience
  • Prefer 3-5 years working experience as a Team Leader or Supervisor in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
  • Experience in inventory management, ERP/MRP and Kanban systems preferred
  • Demonstrated continuous improvement, mathematical, problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Intermediate proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Individual must possess strong characteristics in the areas of initiative, attitude, assertiveness, and sense of urgency. 


 

The Salary range for this position is $69,800.00-$87,950.00.The specific Salary rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location.
