Operations Internship - Summer 2026

Position Purpose: The Operations Intern will gain valuable experience and exposure in the construction industry, focusing on estimating, project management, and field supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gain understanding of the construction process
• Assist with preconstruction conferences
• Assist with the submittal process
• Assist with the Request for Information (RFI) process
• Assist with field quality assurance
• Assist with project closeout responsibilities

Qualifications:

• Demonstrates a passion for the construction industry and possesses a strong work ethic
• Ability to perform skills as reflected and validated by the competency checklist
• Adheres to Rogers-O’Brien policies, procedures, safety plans, and regulatory standards

Preferred Skills:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Physical Requirements:

• Constant mobility and range of motion required
• Regular sitting or standing, bending or stooping
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds of packaged material
• Frequent verbal communication and exchange of ideas
• Regular hearing and near acuity with clarity of vision
• Ability to collect, analyze, and record data accurately

Work Environment:

• Ability to work under and handle stress appropriately
• Exposure to varying noise levels
• Regular collaboration with co-workers
• Full-time position requiring regular and punctual attendance
• Willingness to travel, if necessary
