GENERAL FUNCTION: 

Responsible for achieving fee income goals as a relationship manager and/or as leader of teams working on transactions and advisory roles. Develop relationships with clients/prospects and industry associates.

Responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues, and ensures that actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. While operating within the Bank's risk appetite, achieves results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Generate fee income by developing and providing investment banking services to key relationships.
• Develop working relationships with key Fifth Third affiliate personnel to achieve mutual goals.
• Work with Manager to determine individual goals and objectives.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory groups and agencies.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for providing employees timely, candid and constructive performance feedback; developing employees to their fullest potential and provide challenging opportunities that enhance employee career growth; developing the appropriate talent pool to ensure adequate bench strength and succession planning; recognizing and rewarding employees for accomplishments.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

• 5 years experience in public finance banking or related field
• Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 52, 63 and SIE license required.
• Thorough knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements for public finance activities.
