This position requires consistent exercise of discretion, judgment and knowledge in records management and compliance.   This position will utilize various electronic database systems to review and over-check incoming documents, interface with Regulatory, Manufacturing, Quality, and Customer component of the business and escalate/support compliance issues.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

GSQA Administrator

  • Responsible for the on boarding of new suppliers and maintenance of GSQA for WEC
  • Manage PO to GSQA vendor, resolve issues/implement improvements and work with GSQA vendor in testing acceptance prior to implementation.
  • Owns and maintains fuel component certification procedures and job aids.
  • Interfaces with US and European sites to resolve GSQA questions, issues, and improvements.
  • Trains new suppliers and internal users to use GSQA.
  • Builds new components in GSQA based on specifications, drawings and BOM requirements.
  • Interface with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Customer, Supplier Chain components to resolve issues and recover information.
  • Clears errors, revises certificate and performs daily approvals of certificates.

 

Compliance

  • Ensure Product Record program is in compliance with NQA-1 requirements.
  • Owns and maintains fuel and core component certification procedures and job aids.
  • Supports audits (internal, external and regulatory)
  • Sets, adjusts and maintains Product Records certification schedule.
  • Responsible for the implementation and process and of EDMS PRIME for product records.
  • Trains internal users to use EDMS PRIME, GSQA and record recovery.
  • Daily reviews BOT inputs to PRIME and rectify any BOT exception emails on uploads.
  • Coordinates Product Records scanner maintenance checks and audits
  • Trains other product records personnel in processes

 

Product Certification

  • ​​​​​​​Review documents, such as production and shipping schedules, region orders, and utility requirements documents, to determine product certification requirements priorities and status of fuel shipments.
  • Collect and verify traceability of product manufacturing data.  This includes reviewing and pulling information from various manufacturing execution systems and verifying proper QC Release was performed.
  • Review product deficiencies and nonconformance data for applicability and proper closure prior to shipment.
  • Certify fuel shipment utilizing appropriate computer software such as TAPRA.
  • Complete end of region as-built data.
  • Certify component shipments utilizing applicable software (i.e., GSQA, CMS, WATTS, ENOVIA, etc.)

 

Other

  • Develop, define and specify requirements and process steps to support digitization and automation.
  • Identify opportunities to automate and implement new software solutions to reduce human error and labor required for records and certification.
  • Champion implementation of modern software solutions such as Power BI, BOTS, SharePoint and Microsoft Teams
  • Perform other assignments as assigned by management

What you need to be successful in this role:

  • Two years of college, business school, technical school, or military service.  Number of years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree or certificates.
  • Minimum 2 years as Records Technician or experience in both physical and digital record handling relating to compliance in a regulated industry.
  • Additional years of education creditable as experience

Skills desired:

  • Demonstrated experience in both physical and digital record handling relating to compliance in a regulated industry.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings/specifications.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand regulatory requirements and software processes and translate to procedures
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and other computer skills
  • Experience in production software execution systems
  • Demonstrated results in implementing software automation solutions.
  • Strong communication skills (written and oral), with an ability to deliver message concisely.
  • Ability to interface with different cultures and levels of leadership.
  • Strong results orientation indicated by efficiency, accuracy and time management.
