<p><span>We are looking for a <strong>Sales Manager Newbuild</strong> with a main responsibility in helping our customers fitting their vessels with Wärtsilä marine solutions. The preferred locations for this position are <strong>Rubbestadneset</strong>, <strong>Stord</strong>, <strong>Haugesund</strong>, or <strong>Oslo</strong> <strong>(Norway)</strong>, but <strong>Bergen </strong>is also negotiable. We offer a possibility to hybrid or remote work. </span></p>

<p><strong><span>Your role and responsibilities </span></strong></p>

<p><span>As a Sales Manager Newbuild your work will include:</span></p>
<p> </p>
<ul>
<li><span>Maintain and further develop new and existing customer relationships</span></li>
<li><span>Identify and/or develop sales projects, support decarbonization with a consultative and collaborative approach</span></li>
<li><span>Drive sales performance by executing end-to-end sales process, engaging with customers and internal resources, utilising in-depth knowledge of products and market to deliver tailored solution that brings value to both the customer and Wärtsilä</span></li>

<p><span>The Wärtsilä Norway sales team comprise 16 skilled sales managers, responsible for a yearly sales of 300M€ within newbuilds, conversions and services. You will be working as a part of the newbuilds group, a 5-person team which specialise in the interactions between vessel owner, designer, consultant and yards while providing technical and commercial management in the offering process.</span></p>

<p><strong><span>Requirements for the position: </span></strong></p>
<p> </p>
<ul>
<li><span>Technical knowledge about marine power and propulsion systems</span></li>
<li><span>Experience and/or insight into ship building process </span></li>
<li><span>You have a network of relevant partners and stakeholders</span></li>
<li><span>You are passionate about the marine decarbonisation journey</span></li>
</ul>

<p><strong><span>To be able to succeed in the position we expect you to have: </span></strong></p>
<p> </p>
<ul>
<li><span>Experience from marine industry </span></li>
<li><span>Knowledge about maritime regulations within emissions and safety</span></li>
<li><span>Experience from B2B sales, Business Development, Project Sales or Sales Account Management</span></li>
<li><span>Excellent communication skills, both in English and Norwegian</span></li>
</ul>
