Job Description:
Job Summary: Responsible for moving spare parts for aircraft maintenance through and out of the warehouse in a safe and clean manner, following service level agreement (SLA), technical specification, priorities, instructions given by warehouse management . The warehouse operation is 24 x 7 x 365 days a year and will require shift work, overnight shift and periodic weekend work and on-call. This position is designated as essential personnel (subject to mandatory attendance - incumbents in essential positions are required to attend their normal place of work when the facility is closed).
Primary Responsibilities:
Receive, inspect and put away parts (hazmat and non-hazmat) in correct location using different warehouse management systems
Pick and process hazmat and non-hazmat orders in the correct priority sequence according to established performances targets
Packing hazmat and non-hazmat orders for safe shipment according to shipping instructions and applicable standard specifications (ATA300) and IATA regulations
Prepare shipping documents for hazmat and non-hazmat shipments
Cross-train in various workstations around the warehouse, assist in any workstation in a short notice
Perform inventory cycle counts
Inform supervisor of any process, inventory or system issues immediately
Adhere to all processes and procedures such as hazardous materials, safety, OSHA, etc.
Participate in special projects and/or other duties as assigned
Education and Experience:
A high school diploma or an equivalent certification is required
Minimum 2 years of warehouse experience. Aviation industry preferred
1 year of experience utilizing SAP or equivalent material/operations management software
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products and SAP (or similar product) based inventory management software
Familiarity with OSHA requirements and ability to work safely
Knowledge, Skills, Demonstrated Capabilities:
Forklift certification or ability to obtain
Hazmat certification or ability to obtain
Communication Skills (Spoken, Written, Influencing, Proficiency in Other Languages):
Ability to communicate in English, both in writing and verbally
Technical Systems Proficiency:
Familiarity with using computer systems, preferably SAP, MS Office and/or various warehouse management system
Able to use scanners as part of your daily work
Able to use email as the main communication tool within and outside the organization

Decisions could impact the cost for transportation of all types of goods globally. Both hazardous goods as well as standard parts.
Able to resolve rudimentary issues without supervision.
