Summer 2024 Subcontracts Intern

Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking a Summer 2024 Subcontracts Intern to support our subcontracts team within the Defense Mission & Health Solutions (DM&HS) sector remotely.

 

As an Intern, you will join the subcontracts team to provide business and process support– focusing primarily on early subcontractor engagement efforts. You will have the opportunity to learn the basics of subcontractor management, price analysis, subcontracts administration, teaming agreements, Non-disclosure agreements, communication plans, contract support and learning the day-to-day of how a business operates.

 

 Responsibilities: 

• Assist the Subcontracts Director with Subcontract Agreements, Teaming Agreements and Non-disclosure Agreements
• Track and monitor certain contract activities, data calls, and deliverables
• Assist with data entry into the contract lifecycle management system
• Provide review of contract documents.
• Review data calls for accuracy and compliance with contract terms and conditions
• Assignments usually involve a wide variety of detailed activities which can include administration, data entry, planning and conducting research

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• US Citizenship.
• A High School diploma and some advanced level training.
• A current undergrad enrolled at an accredited university in a 4-year degree program actively pursuing a BS/BA/BBA in Management, Business, Business Information Technology, Contracts or related field.
• Experience with MS Suite: MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, MS Visio.

Desired Qualifications:

• Previous work experience through side projects or previous internships related to government contracting, contracts administration or business.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to be detail-oriented and to prioritize work and meet quick turnaround deadlines.

The rate / range per hour below represents the typical pay for this position based on experience and other factors.
