Front Office Assistant

This position:

Will assist in communicating with non English speaking patients and their guardians while performing front desk reception and clerical duties.

Job Duties:

• Greeting the patients in a friendly manner
• Checking in patients, which includes updating any necessary paperwork
• Answering the phone
• Setting up New Patient appointments
• Calling to confirm appointments
• Calling patients who missed appointments
• Checking out patients, which includes collecting the patient portion of the visit and giving future appointments.
• Billing the claims
• Interpreting for the clinical staff and for the patient
• Other duties as assigned to assist team

Ideal Candidate:

• Must be Bilingual in Spanish and English     
• An associate's degree or higher
• Aptitude and desire to learn
• 1+ year experience in a medical or dental office
• Familiarity with NCTracks
• Computer skills

Requirements:

• Dental/Medical office experience
• Fluent/Bilingual in Spanish and English
