Overview
Provides reporting support and data analysis for hospital based insurance billing. Participates in staff education, training, and orientation, and monitors productivity and accuracy.
What you will do
Supports and monitors all relevant insurance follow-up work queues.
Monitors staff productivity and accuracy.
Identifies issues and trends for corrective actions.
Participates in the development and delivery of staff education, training and orientation.
Identifies payer specific denial trends and provides validated and accurate research.
Acts as a liaison with outside departments.
Qualifications
Education
High School Diploma or GED, (Required)
Bachelors Degree, Accounting, Finance or related field (will count as 1 year of experience) (Preferred)
Experience
2 years Medical Billing/Revenue Cycle experience (Required)
