Please visit our website: www.turnerandtownsend.com</p><h3>Job Description</h3><p>Turner & Townsend are seeking a Project Manager/Senior Project Manager to work on major Industrial construction projects. This is an exciting opportunity to work in key sector projects with an impact and interact with global leaders within Turner & Townsend. This is a client facing role focused on delivery, while also consisting of leading business development activities.</p><p><strong>Job Objectives</strong></p><ul><li>Manage overall project cost, schedule and budgets.</li><li>Manage General Contractor and other directly contracted vendors and consultants.</li><li>Analyse, track and effectively manage critical milestone activities to avoid schedule slip.</li><li>Review construction proposals and related pricing/scopes.</li><li>Review, correct and assess work-in-place, to approve capital expenditure spends.</li><li>Review and approve cost loaded schedules.</li><li>Run and lead client and other required meetings.</li><li>Identify factors that influence construction costs and monitor and report on this data.</li><li>Review, validate and audit cost estimates prepared by contractors and others within a client’s organization.</li><li>Support engineering decisions relating to the project cost and budget while design-build changes take place during construction.</li><li>Review requests for payment.</li><li>Track and ensure equipment meets the project schedule.</li><li>Record occurrence that might result in a claim - acting on the client’s behalf.</li><li>Coordinate and oversee scheduling consultant reviews on the project.</li><li>Review and approve final invoices, payment applications, retention payments.</li><li>Build on strong relationships with clients through interaction and cross-functional team members. The job requires the holder to build trust with clients, industry partners and colleagues, and maintain our “One Business” ethos.</li><li>Advocate on the part of the client during disputes, disagreements, modifications, or change orders.</li><li>Oversee and manage the transfer of the building operations to the client including all close out documentation and warranties.</li><li>Review construction proposals and related pricing/scopes.</li><li>Management of design phases.</li><li>Knowledge and experience with all methods of construction procurement and long lead equipment.</li><li>Ensure that client objectives are met through the delivery of an effective cost & project management service from pre contract to handover</li><li>In conjunction with Business Generation Team undertake business development activities related to pursuing for new project opportunities from pursuit plan to conversion.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Experience as a Project Manager/Senior Project Manager with previous sector experience e.g. Industrial, Pharma, Industrial, Logistics or Manufacturing.</li><li>University degree in Civil/Building Construction, Construction Management or a related field.</li><li>Taking responsibility for identifying, developing and securing new business opportunities in the market</li><li>Taking responsibility for developing new business opportunities with existing and new Turner & Townsend clients. </li><li>Identify and understand areas of opportunity and development and ensure early awareness of upcoming investment in projects by clients and be able to early engage</li><li>Knowledge of Structural, Civil Engineering and Architectural scopes of work.</li><li>Advanced skills with spreadsheets, report writing and presentations.</li><li>Strong and professional communication skills, with great organization skills, ability to multi-task.</li><li>Must have a “team attitude”, be self-motivated and be willing to support other groups and projects when required.</li><li>Management experience, with ability to manage and lead team in delivering a commission and general line management.</li><li>Manage revenue, team resource and priori
