General Labor - Warehouse Labor - Pallet Sorter

Hourly Pay:

$15.00/hr.

Summary 

The General Laborer - pallet sorter will be sorting wooden pallets by hand, separating damaged pallets, performing a quality check.  

Responsibilities and Expectations 

• Sort wooden pallets 
• Separate damaged pallets
• Identify the difference between pallet grades and separating them 

Experience and Qualifications  

• Must be able to lift, pull, and push wooden pallets that weigh about 50-75lbs 
• Must be comfortable working in a warehouse, in a labor-intensive environment 
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, adhering to all safety standards

• Ability to work in extreme conditions to include, but not limited to, elements, heat, cold, and air particulate   
• The employee is frequently required to sit, talk, hear, walk and use hands to handle, feel and reach.  
• The noise level in the work environment depends on location.  
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required (eye protection, ear protection is mandatory at several locations, safety shoes)  
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and color vision.  
• Must have a good sense of balance & good eye-hand-foot coordination
