About the role
Act as the point person on all reset activities during a remodel. Coordinate with the third-party reset team to schedule resets, schedule/manage third-party labor and communicate all aspects of the project with store teams and remodel operations manager. Maintain Freshness and Standards and Merchandising Execution expectations during projects and minimize disruptions to the customer experience within the store. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety.
- Maintain stores' ability to meet/exceed customers' expectations for ease of shopping, variety, freshness, cleanliness during project lifecycle
- Maintain 5S/Freshness and Standards programs throughout the remodel
- Ensure the Store Remodel Best Practice Guides are followed
- Protect all company assets during remodel
- Schedule store resets
- Schedule/manage the third-party labor budget
- Order shelf strips and shelf tags
- Conduct computer assisted ordering (CAO) verification on mins and allocations during the reset/remodel
- Act on any POG issues or holes until resolved
- Complete daily plan-o-grams (POG), utilizing best practices
- Update overhead navigation and aisle markers and implement daily aisle directories
- Coordinate with contractors and store associates on daily/weekly resets
- Provide daily updates/communication to the remodel operations manager
- Reduce the negative effect of markdowns and discontinued product on the store by following company policies on close-out items and markdowns
- Adhere to all local, state and federal laws, food safety regulations and company guidelines
- Execute CAO maintenance and KOMPASS activity per best practices to eliminate out of stocks and negative effects on both digital and in-store customers
- Travel to stores for project needs; work nights and weekends
- Must be able to perform the essential job functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation
Minimum
- High School Diploma or GED
- Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to coach teams on acceptable conditions and practices
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Adequate knowledge of Freshness and Standards procedures, Merchandising Execution initiatives, CAO and KOMPASS best practices and in-store fixturing
- Basic Microsoft Office and mathematical skills
- Proven self-starter with good organizational and planning skills; demonstrated exceptional follow-through
- Ability to manage multiple simultaneous priorities and coordinate with varying stakeholders
- Demonstrated sound decision making
