Primary Objective:
The Business and Data Analyst – Sales Operations will support the Business Analytics department by delivering data-driven insights from Sales for strategic planning and growth. This role focuses on developing accurate sales forecasts, managing quotes and purchase orders, maintaining data integrity, and creating analytics reports that track revenue performance against Annual Operating Plan targets. Working closely with the Program Management Office to align data insights, the analyst maintains reporting systems that drive timely decision-making and equip sales leadership with actionable intelligence for business optimization.
Major Areas of Accountability:
• Design and execute SQL queries to manage complex datasets, collaborating with stakeholders to extract and analyze cross-functional information.
• Manage cross-functional data alignment to standardize reporting across PMO, Operations, Finance, and Procurement systems.
• Create and maintain interactive dashboards using enterprise visualization tools to deliver actionable business insights.
• Drive monthly Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) through data-driven demand forecasting and cross-departmental coordination.
• Ensure data integrity across CRM and ERP systems, validating inputs and maintaining real-time sales activity records.
• Engage with Sales, Program Management Office, and Customers to secure project purchase orders and maintain business continuity.
• Lead system optimization initiatives across Sales processes, including CRM, price book, and online collaboration tools.
• Coordinate with Legal, Finance, and Quality teams to facilitate customer onboarding and program implementation.
• Spearhead Annual Operating Plan (AOP) demand generation efforts.
• Direct KPI tracking and statistical analysis to identify growth opportunities and operational improvements.
Required Qualifications:
• Education.Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering or related field or related field.
• Experience: Minimum 0+ years in business analytics, sales operations, or related field.
• Skills:
• Strong knowledge in working with data – extracting, translating, visualizing, and analyzing
• Ability to drive cross-functional teams by “leading without authority”
• Working knowledge of data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
• Financial analysis experience including order to cash and forecast to fulfil processes
• Working knowledge in data warehousing including database management and ETL processes
• Strong Excel proficiency
• SQL proficiency (querying, stored procedures, optimization)

• Travel Requirements: 1 – 2 weeks annually for conferences or stakeholder meetings
• Citizenship: Sole US Citizen, US Person (will this person be required to obtain a clearance to perform their essential duties?)
Preferred Qualifications:
• Education. Master's degree in related field
• Experience: 1-3 years in business analytics with project management experience
• Skills:
• 1-3 years in business analytics or sales operations
• Practical experience in programming such as Python or R for data analysis
